Types of Non-Destructive Testing

The tensile-strength test is inherently fruitless; in the process of collating data, the sample is destroyed. Although this is excusable when a decent supply of the sample is at hand, nondestructive procedures are safer for materials that are costly or difficult to make up or that have been made into finished or semicompleted products.
